Hi Jackie,

Yes, there is some kind of connection but I don't know yet what it is!?In the 1850 Pa. census in Lancaster Co. Pa there is a Jacob C. CLAIR who has a Benjamin MUSSELMAN living with him....My Samuel CLAIR married Elizabeth MUSSELMAN in Lancaster Co. Pa and they moved to Freeport, Illinois in 1850 when she was 5 years old.So....there is some kind of family connection but I don't know yet what it is?Keep in touch...Kathy
