Myron D. is not in my directly but I would be interested in a digital copy of the photograph for my genealogy records of the Herkimer Co. Clapsaddles.Hopefully a direct or near direct descendent will respond and claim the actual picture.
Myron D. appears to be the son of Dennis J. and Sarah Clapsattle.I do not know how this Dennis links to the Herkimer Co. clan. Dennis was a common name in the family and a derivative of AugusTINUS.The first Augustinus, was a Maj. in the militia and was killed at the Oriskany battle along with his younger brother Jacob. The name was carried on in his direct line and in his brother Wilhelm's line.My link is through their brother Andreas. All were sons of the first Andreas Klebsattel from Germany.
If anyone has the link from Dennis J. to the Herkimer clan, I would like to hear from them.
