"Worrall-Clare" history (Salford England)

Our family records only go as far back as Henry Naple (wife unknown) who died prior to 1887. He had only one son Henrey Naple who was five or four years old at the time, for some reason he obtained the name Clare and was formally registered as HENRY NAPLE CLARE. He in turn married a widow named Ellen Marksman (nee Gannon). This union resulted in four sons, namely: Harry, Eric, Cyril and Norman. (Born in Salford England). HENRY NAPLE CLARE died suddenly, and as a result (reason unknown) HARRY (his first born) was registered as HARRY WORRALL-CLARE (perhaps to a remarriage of his mother). Unfortunately only the oldest son was registered under the new name, whilst Eric, Cyril and Norman remain CLARE's.

HARRY WORRALL-CLARE (died 1986) married ANN ELLAN WORRALL-CLARE (born Delayney daughter of Matthew and Mary)(died 1999). The union resulted in two child: Patricia Worrall-Clare and Stefan Worrall-Clare (born 1945). Stefan Worrall-Clare married Athene (born Von Weilligh) and had two children, and later adopted a third.

Those children are:
KURT WORRALL-CLARE (1972), CHE' WORRALL-CLARE (1975) and MATTHEW WORRALL-CLARE (1994)

all are currently resident in South Africa, after Harry Worrall-Clare and wife left for Kenya soon after the Second World War.
