Mary J. Clark m. Jacob Norton-ME/IL 18??

Mary Jane Clark, my maternal g-grandmother, married Jacob Norton sometime in the mid to late 1800's. I know little about my mothers parents or grandparents. The Nortons came from Maine.
Irma Norton, my mothers mother, m. George Dahm/Domm. The Domm's were from Germany. They settled in Seneca, IL, where my mother, Irma Mae was born in 1916. My mother m. Gerald F. Derry, he was born in Galesgurg, IL in 1899.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? I am at a dead end!
