Clark - Skinner marriage.......late 1700's

this is a long shot, but I'm desperate here.I'm trying to find the parents of Clark SKINNER b. 1794 KY....I only have this from one census record on him.My thinking is that it could be possible for his father to have married a woman with the maiden name of CLARK, and that they named their son....you got it....Clark SKINNER.....so if anyone out there knows of a CLARK girl marrying any SKINNER I would be very interested to hear from you.
