James CLARK, b1790-1800, Windham County, CT?

Hello.I continue to look for information on a James CLARK who was probably born between 1790 and 1800.

He was a Mariner, and was living in Little Compton, RI, in the 1820's.In 1829 he married in Westport, MA.In 1844 he left on a whaling ship and never returned.

The only daughter of James and Rhoda CLARK was Mary Anna CLARK (b1837 Westport).Probably around 1855 she married John DEXTER of Killingly, CT... I am wondering if James CLARK had ties to .. Windham County, CT.

When James married in 1829, he married a widow with young children.I would like to find out if James was also married before he married Mrs. Rhoda (MANCHESTER) LAVARE.And, I would VERY much like to find out if he had children born to him before he married Rhoda.
