Does anyone know more about William M. Clark, such as who his parents were and what became of him after 1864? On January 18, 1870, Adoniram Cooper (1846-1875) married Martha A. Messer, in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. They were lifelong residents of Greenup County, as far as I know.

This bride was supposedly the same person as the Martha A. Messer who married William M. Clark in 1864 in Greenup County. Thus, according to this scenario, Adoniram Cooper was Martha A. Messer's second husband.
