U. Clark, age 88, of Paris, TX dies October 1899

CLARK – Paris, Oct. 12 – Mr. U. Clark, one of the oldest residents of this section of the state, died at his home on Lamar avenue yesterday evening, aged 88 years. Besides his aged widow the deceased leaves a number of sons prominent in business. One of them, John H. Clark, is an attorney at San Antonio. Another, Dr. Charles Clark, is a physician at Clarksville, and a third, Dr. J. F. Clark, is the city health officer of Paris.
