Harriet Clark Pope,dau.of John Clark ,mother of Will & Frank Pope

Still looking for Caleb Clark.Believe he is tied to this John Clark family in some way.
Thomas Clark who married Priscilla Doyle Tucker had a son, John Clark.John and Susan Parks had a daughter named Harriet.Harriet married Hopson Pope and was the mother of Will and Frank Pope.In some papers we found years ago, Nancy Frances, daughter of William Scot Clark, said that her father, Wm. Scot Clark, had a cousin,Harriet Clark Pope ,from Wisonsville, Al at one time. This William Scot Clark is the son of Calep Clark and Mary Polly Mullins.This Calep Clark is my dead end.If all of this is true then I figure thatmy Calep and this John Clark are related in some way.Could my Calep be related to the Henry Clark and Empernal Hill line in a roundabout way?
Can someone help me out?This has been a fifty year brick wall.
