Caleb CLARK * Hannah CRONKITE

Caleb Clark was born on June 22, 1788 in Rensaleer County (somewhere in New England.)

He married Hannah Cronkite.Hannah was born in 1799.They came to Ellisburg, NY in 1842 from Oswego County.

Caleb served in the War of 1812 as a Lt. Colonel.They had 5 children, namely, LYMAN, Warren, Elizabeth, Hiram, and Squire.

After Caleb died on Dec. 22, 1855, Hannah lived with her son Squire.Hannah died in 1875.They are both buried in Ellisburg Cemetery.

Lyman Clark, son of Caleb, was born in1818 in Rensaleer County.He married Mary Smith.

They had 5 children, namely, Martha, Charles, Ida, Albert, and Henry.

Henry William Clark, son of Lyman, was born on March 10, 1846 in Oswego County.

Other sources say that his name was William Henry, but I think Henry W. is right.

He married Almyra Boomer in 1865, daughter of Leonard and Nancy (Chamberlain) Boomer.

They had 5 children, namely, Frances Ann, George, Dennison, Jennette, and Leonard.

Henry died in 1927 in Camden NY and they are both buried in Ellisburg Cemetery.
