He was Margaret Ginder's son but his tombstone lists him as the son of Sarah Jane Clark.

Charles was a hard worker as a child. Jane thought he worked too hard & killed himself.

William married also Sarah Jane CLARK.

They had the following children:

George S. DEVORE was born on 11 Oct 1885 in Lincoln Twp, Warren Co, Iowa.

He died in 1956.

Notes: According to family legend, Jane believed Will's first son, Charles had worked himself to death. Consequently, she wouldn't let George do anything.
