John Ephriam Clark born 1833 in Missouri

Looking for the parents or siblings of this John Ephraim/Ephram Clark.According to the 1900 census, he was going by "Ephram" and was born September 1833 in Missouri with both parents born in Missouri. In the 1860, 1870, & 1880 census, he is shown as John E. Clark.In the 1880 census, both of his parents are shown as being born in Kentucky.

John Ephraim married about 1854/1855 to Susan Crowder, daughter of Nelson Crowder and Susannah Cogdill.
John and Susan had six children: Armelda A. who married James Wm. Rutherford; Margaret J., who married Delana/Delaney Sherard; William Marion; Wesley Ellsworth;
Hiram Newton who married Minnie Sherard; and Manuel J. Clark.

Ephraim seems to have been a family name, but I have been unable to connect this man to any family.

Does anyone have any ideas? Would also like to find the burial site. Could be in Woods Cemetery in Dekalb or Fairview in Gentry County.
