Darryl,Sorry I am so late getting back to you, not enough hours in a day anymore.Frank Clay does not ring any bells. I tried looking up Amanda on the 1900 census that I have, and she is not there,Wish we had her fathers name.Hey how about any names for her brothers, most of the time they passed those through the family.
Also looked up William Stevens. There were a lot of Stevens in Ky in the 1900 census. Even with the middle initial, it was not any help.Sorry, wish I could of been of help.I have my entire family done except for my elusive Mathew Clay b. 1822 in possibly Floyd or Pike Co. There were 4 Mathew's born in the same time frame all with
different sets of parents. He married one of the Lucinda Sturgill's b. 1832 (There were 3 born in that time frame)
with different parents and later husbands.I thinking Mathew and Lucinda were very popular names.
