Timothy, Quaker, England to NC, ca, mid to late 1600s
"Carolina Trees & Branches,July 2012 has a little information on this man:
"Francis Tome's movements have been mentioned. His fellow Quaker Timothy Cleare's route to Perquimans (NC) ran from the great British port of Bristol to the sugar island of Nevis in the Leeward Islands to Maryland's Cecil County at the head of Chesapeake Bay to the Albemarle.Additionally, proof of Cleare's movements lies in recurring association with Thomas Hassold and Franis Belchamp."
I believe the Tome forum states that a one of his children married a Cleare.
I am not related, just entering information. The Family Research Society of North Eastern North Carolina, 252-333-1640 might have further information.
