husband: Arvie Hark Clenney 3 Apr 1825-5 Dec 1915
His tombstone says he was born in Anson Co. NC. Came to Decatur Co. TN at age of 14 (ca 1839).

Believed marriage date was 31 May 1883 in probably Decatur Co. TN.Marriage records of Decatur Co. TN list a Francis E.M. GATHINGS married A.H. CLENNEY on this date.

I believe Minerva may be the same FRANCES age 14 listed on 1850 census Decatur Co. TN in household of Joseph GATHENY and the same Fannie E.M. GETHING age 46 on 1880 census Decatur Co. TN in household of her sister Elmira D. GETHING.
"M" in her name could be "Minerva".

Surnames GATHENY, GETHING are variations of surname GATHING, GATHINGS, GAYTHINGS.

GATHINGS family of Decatur Co. TN was believed to be from Anson Co. NC.
