Charles Robert and Mary jane Clifford Kent

i am trying to locate what happened to Mary jane Clifford and her husband Charles Robert Clifford. Mary Jane was alive in Kent in 1888 but can not be located on 1891 census. Her husband was with his parent in laws in 1891 and not located on 1901 census. Any help with these cliffords. They were in West Ashford Kent. Cheers peter
