Nancy, I am involved in a 14+ years project to locate and document all Civil War soldiers buried in New Jersey. We documented the grave of your grandfather in 1993, but have been unable to identify the Ohio regiment he served in under the alias of William Smith. We also would like to know the month and day that he died in 1926.Bob
