I'll have my dau to check with her mother-in-law and see if she knows anything about the other Clinches, and where they came from in Ireland.When William said that "the Clinches" came to America late, I pointed out to him that a river and a mountain are named Clinch in VA/TN, so there were probably Clinches here 1800, or before.He had never heard of either place. That is where my 5th gr grandfather, James Davidson, Sr., settled before the Revolutionary War.For what it's worth, there is a Clinch County in GA as well.
