I am not sure if all of this is related but you can check.
John Cline (of Germany) father of Joseph, George, John and Jacob all ended up in Ohio abt 1800 (try Richland Co.)

Philip came to Richland Co. and then moved to Washington Co. and d. there. (Don't know the relationship)

There are a number of Cline's from Ulster Co., NY.Jonas b. 1760 came to Richland Co., and then moved to Fulton Co., IL and d. there. His mother Margarita Kleyn was b. in Ulster Co.
