Re: Solomon Coakley--OH-VA

I am related to this family.My gggrandmother, Launia Coakley, was the youngest daughter of John Coakley and Jane Unknown.Launia Coakley married John Wesley Sherron (Sharron/Sharon) and had then ten children.According to John's census records, he was born abt 1826 in Ohio and his father was born in Virgina.I cannot confirm this but I think his father was William Coakley (b. abt 1794 Virgina) and Susan Clark (b. abt 1794 VA).The earliest census record that I have of this family is in the 1830 Census.

Daniel Coakley: 1 male 15-20 (?Isaac),2 males 20-30 (?Daniel and Solomon), 1 fem 10-15, 1 female 60-70 (?Barbara)
William Coakley: 1 male under 5, 2 males 5-10, 1 male 30-40 (William?, 1 female under 5, 1 female 30-40 (Sarah?)


I don't know where they were before this.It looks like the female 60-70 in Daniel's household was the mother of Daniel, Isaac, Solomon and William.If anyone has anymore information on this family, please contact me.
