I am very interested in the Cochran family of Caswell Co., NC and Sumner Co., TN. Hope you can shed some light on them for me!

After my own digging I agree that William Cochran who left a Will in Sumner Co is the son of John Cochran's whose will was recorded in Caswell Co. One easy "proof" would be the Robert Bruce and Tabitha (Cochran) Bruce connection. The couple was married in Caswell CO and appear in both wills. It was my ancestor, Dr. John H. Bush who was named as Executor in William's Will. THis might denote to me that the two men were related or at least close friends.

I need to know more about JOhn in Caswell including the name of his wife (wives) and what connectionhe had to the Howard, Herndon and Graves families there.

I am trying to find the origins of my Dr. Bush (b. ca 1770 - 1832 Caldwell Co., KY) and what if any relation he may have had to the Bush and Bruce families in Caswell Co.

Any info you can share about those named above will be appreciated and might be the clue I am looking for!! Thanks.
