Did you see the Peleg Coffin mentioned on pg. 328 of the Louis Coffin book?He was born in NY too (1786) and one of his son's might have had a son he named Peleg in honor of his father and That could be Your Peleg.6th generation Line E of Stephen Coffin.Son's Charles or Henry may have had son's they named Peleg.I hope this is something helpful to you.
