I am a descendant of Coleman Harmon Coffman.He is my great, great grandfather.I believe that is who you are searching for rather than Coleman HENDERSON Coffman.He is the llth child of David Harmon Coffman, Jr., born November 12, 1833 and Rhoda Ann Shelton.Coleman married first Jane Caroline Haney, who was born in 1829 in South Carolina.Caroline was the daughter of William and Letty Haney.Coleman and Caroline were married November l7, 1853 in Limestone County, Alabama by William P. Long, J.P.
Coleman and Caroline had eight children:Nancy Rhoda Ann Coffman, Lucinda A. Coffman, William J.S. Coffman ("James"),David Marion Coffman, Joseph Henderson Coffman, Elizabeth (Betty) Coffman, Eliza Emiline (Liza) Coffman and Robert G. Coffman.
David Harmon Coffman, Jr. is the son of David Harmon Coffman, Sr. and wife Elizabeth Keele.
David, Sr.'s father was Andrew Kauffman, Jr. and his mother was Magdalena Martin Kauffman.
