Patrick Cockburn/Cogburn/Cogman on 1850 census Marion Co., TN
I found our Montgomery Co., ARK Patrick Cockburn/Cogburn on the 1850 census Marion Co., TN as "COGMAN".He is listed right next door to Washington Porter and 3 houses up is a family of Odoms.

I'll try pasting it here, but my Word programs puts it in Table Format and messes things up.

The X's in the far right column are under the heading R/W;It must mean can R/W since the infants don't have X's.So Elizabeth, Patrick "Cogman's" wife can read and write.
Is the name "Raichel" a misread?or an error in the sex of the child and/or typos? That child w/h/b 11 in 1860.RICHARD is the 11 year old male on Patrick Cockburn's 1860 census Montgomery Co ARK.
The naming of the first son, "John" indicates that Patrick's father's name was John.Patrick was (b)1813-1815 TN, meaning his father was (b) about 1790 +/-.(Old John Cogburn Sr shows to be 66 (b)NC in the 1850 census, Greene Co, TN, making him (b)1784.Was he this Patrick's father?
