Re: William A Cogdill 1831 NC

Have been searching for three years for information on Letishiah Cogdill, daughter of J. W. Cogdill and Mary A. Cogdill of Swain County, N.C.,in 1894. She married first a Farley, then J.P.Malley in Ashville N.C. Both J.W and J.P. were timber buyers and loggers. We have their marriage application, Ashville in Nov. 9, 1894. The census shows they traveled all over the N.C.,S.C. and TN area of the country. The story we heard is that they worked on The Biltmore House. The census says that J.W. Cogdill and his parents were born in N.C. J.W. may have gone by the name Will.
