Mary "Polly" Cole(b.1804,SC) m. DuPree

Looking for information on a Mary (Polly) B. Cole.From what I have been able to piece together, she was born in SC 1804ish, married a Dupree (probably John Dupree, Jr.) either in Union Co., SC (where the Dupree family lived) or Franklin County, GA, as she was living in Dist 213, Franklin, GA with her children in 1840, her husband apparently having recently died. By 1850 she was back in Union County, SC living (presumably) with her five boys.She may have had a daughter, Jane who married a Bond and was widowed by 1850 as well, and was living back in Union County SC then too.

Her neighbors in 1840 in Franklin County, GA include a Leonard Bond household (Dist. 213), a Robt. E. Bond (maybe Baird) family (Dist. 212), and a Henry Cole household (Dist. 214).

I also notice a Bailey family nearby, and am told the Baileys and Coles intermarried a bit, and a few Bobo families, who I know are also prominent in the Union County, SC. area.

I found Mary's maiden name on the Death Certificate of her son, Samuel Loveberry DuPree (d.1917, TX), and the "B." initial in the Civil War military records of her son S. Napoleon Dupree.
