this is what i have, i can't tell if it's the right family; i think so because of the Jane Wycoff tie-in.
Richard Compton, Jr. 1702-1783 m. Elizabeth Cox; their daughter was:
Sarah Compton 1731-1813 m. James Castner 1729-1821; their children were:
A. Ann Castner 1755/6 m. Capt. Peter Boyer
B. John I. Castner 1762-1815 m. Catherine Remer 1765-1848
C. Rachel Castner m. Jacob DeGroot
(if they had more children, i don't have anything about them, but their son John I. Castner m. Catherine Remer, their children are below.)
B. John I. Castner m. Catherine Remer - their children:
1. Ann Castner 7 Dec. 1790-21 Nov. 1865 m. John I. Todd
2. James Castner 1793-1797
3. John Castner 20 May 1805-21 may 1805
4. Joseph C. Castner 19 April 1802-11 May 1874 married Jane Wycoff 20 March 1802-10 July 1861 Joseph and Jane's children (see explanation below): Sarah Castner d. 21 Jan. 1835 aged 13 days Gitty Jane d. 23 Aug. 1834 age 5 mos. 16 days John I. Castner d. 30 Aug. 1840 age 3 mos. 9 days Sarah Jane Castner d. 22 July 1830 age 5 mos. 2 days Elizabeth Castner d. 12 Dec. 1840 age 3 mos.?
explanation: I believe I got the info from the records of the Compton-Castner Burying Ground, so I only have the names of the children who died and were buried there. This is probably where you fit in, and the only reason I think that is because of the son named Wycoff Castner. He would have been born in about 1831, the right age, and it is Jane's maiden name.
