To beloved wife Abi—she may keep what she had acquired from friends.
Son: DANIEL COMSTOCK all of my land in the town of LeRay, Jefferson Co. NY, where he resides.
Two granddaughters: SARAH ELIZABETH andMARY ALMEDA COMSTOCK, children of my deceased son CYRUS COMSTOCK.
Son:LEVI COMSTOCK part of the home farm.
Son:GEORGE W. COMSTOCK
Granddaughter:AMY AUGUSTA COMSTOCK, daughter of son LEVI COMSTOCK
Provision:If Daniel (of Jefferson Co.) should die without heirs, the property in Jefferson Co., NY would go to Levi, George and William P. Comstock./s/ Nathan Comstock
Executors:Elihu Wing and Levi Comstock Will written 13 April 1846; proved 26 Nov. 1846.

George W. Comstock, who applied to the Probate Court to open the estate proceedings, stated she died 16 July 1860.He also stated that in addition to himself she left heirs:Levi Comstock, Mary A. Comstock.
According to the Comstock Genealogy, Nathan was born in 1781 in Rhode Island, son of Stephen Comstock.He moved to Greenfield about 1801 and there married on 1 January 1801 to Abi Paine.
In the 1850 census of Greenfield is Elisebeth Comstock, age 46 and daughter Mary, age 13.The Mortality Schedule lists Sarah Comstock age 16, bc 1834 died April 1850.Elisebeth was probably the wife of deceased son, Cyrus Comstock, named in the will.Cyrus was in the 1840 census at Greenfield.
In the 1855 census of Greenfield, George W. was age 40 living with mother Abi, age 75.

Probate Records of Jefferson Co., NY: On 9 April 1858 Ann M. Comstock and George Gardner of LeRay, Jefferson Co., were granted Letters of Administration for the estate of Daniel Comstock who died intestate.
The Comstock genealogy states that Daniel's house burned with him and all his children.It would seem that Daniel's daughter, Mary A. Comstock did survive the fire as did her mother, and George W. stated properly that Mary A. was an heir of Abi, as the daughter of the deceased son, Daniel of LeRay.
The Comstock genealogy states that: Daniel was born in 1802 and died in 1858 at 56 years in the fire in Jefferson Co. NY Cyrus died at age 38 and his twin, Silas, died at 22. Levi was born 3 May 1813. Amy – no further information George W. was born 17 June 1815 and d 30 Dec. 1889.His twin, Benjamin Franklin died in Greenfield in 1839 at 24 years. William Penn was born 1817 and died 31 Dec. 1855 at 38 years.He was a dry goods merchant in Saratoga Springs NY
