For 30 years I have seen William Comstock's wife listed as Naomi Noyes. In the Comstock book by John Adams Comstock it states "Naomi Noyes (sometimes written Nyles or Niles)who d. 1761, dau. of Benjamin and Ruth Noyes." (Actually, Benjamin should read Moses Noyes.) After 30 years I would hate to throw the Noyes Family out of my ancestry. It would mean I could no longer claim William Brewster as my ancestor. My cousin was accepted into the Colonial Dames based on this line. Can anyone shed any light on this? Was William Comstock b 1669 married to daughter of Moses Noyes?
