Let me shed a little light on what I have been told and assume is correct.
Tom, Douglas and Henry were brothers. They had two sisters but I do not have their names at the present. This I can get.
It is believed (hear say) that their father, possibly Andy Conard who was noted as a landowner in Mississippi, moved to the areawith other relatives (brothers) from some northern area.Believe it or not, Virginia or NC could be considered a northern area to some of my family - so we can go with that until we reach a dead end.
I know the names of the children of Henry, Tom and Douglas. As mentioned to you before, Henry was my gg grandfather. What I may not have told you is Isreal is my great grandfather, Walter Conard Sr, my grandfather and his son, Earnest Conard, who lives in Desoto County, MS is my dad. (Walter Conard, my uncle, is deceased. Enos Conard is my father's first cousin) I can even give you the names of wives and children of Tom and Douglas because it has been documented by family members already through census records and orally by others in the family. Decendants are scattered throughout Memphis, TN and in the areas of Desoto County, MS, Tate County, MS, and Panola County, MS.
What we fall short on being able to prove is (1) who was Tom, Henry and Douglas's actual father (was it Andy?); (2) who was their mother; (3) did their father have brothers and sisters and if so, where are they; and (4) where might have the family originated?
If I can share anything else with you, let me know.In the meantime, I wait your response.
