Re: Condran's of Lebanon/Dauphin County, PA
The census does seem to be rather confusing regarding Daniel and Annie. Why Daniel does not appear in the 1900 or 1910 census is baffling. Annie appears in the 1900 census as being married for 2 years and having three of three children still living, but does not list them. The Edward is probably her brother and couldn't possibly be her son since he is 4 years older than her. Sarah White is probably their mother (see below). The 1910 census lists Annie again. Her mother Sarah is still living with her but the family includes Lillie J. 15, Eva S. 13, James E. 10 and Howard 4. Annie has 4 children and was married 16 years. I could not find any of them after 1910.
The 1880 census lists Thomas White 32, Sarah 36, George 10, Edward 5 and Annie 1 living in Lebanon.
You didn't mention the names of the children of Daniel and Annie or when they were born. I assume you've looked for Daniel and Annie's marriage record. Have you found Annie's obituary. Daniel's death certificate should have his parents' names. My guess is that Daniel was either away most of the time or estranged from his wife from time to time. They probably divorced.
If you can post more of what you are certain about we'll work from there. I'm guessing you're looking for proof to connect the Daniel Condran 1862-1941 and the Daniel Condran who was married to Annie.
