Hi Karen,
I am connected to Fielder and Cook lines.
I am searching for the parents and siblings of my gg-grandpa, Daniel Cook, b-1790/91-NC.,married to first wife Martha Brumley, in Mecklenburg Co, NC., in 1811,(she died in childbirth in 1827, we believe with their ninth child), and second wife Jemima Kennerly, b-1806-Cabarrus Co, NC.,(my gg-grandmother). Daniel and Jemima married in 1827 in Cabarrus Co, NC. Twenty years of their marriage was lived in Cabarrus Co, and Rowan Co, NC., maybe other counties before moving to Union Co, IL., abt 1847, where they lived the rest of their lives. They had eight children, seven born in NC. We think that Jemima's parents were Charles Kennerly and wife, Anna Allbright. Need to prove.
My Fielder line is John Fielder married to Elizabeth Lewis, (my gggg-grandparents). Elizabeth Lewis being the daughter of William Terrell Lewis Sr.,b-1718-Hanover Co, VA., and wife Sarah Sally Martin.
My grandpa Bernard Allen Cook, b-1887-IL., married my grandmother, Ruth Nellie Esther Fielder,b-1893-MO.,and gg-granddaughter of John Fielder, b-1732 and wife Elizabeth Lewis, b-1740-Surry Co, NC.
I am wondering, after viewing your Cook info, if our Daniel Cook may fit in your Cook line ? Daniel's parents and siblings have become a mystery.
"Thank You".
