Do you know any "Cooks" from this line? Specifically, "male" Cooks? DNA may be the only way to pin this line down.

I too have come across Cornelius in my research. I am descended from Abraham Cooke and Martha Clayton of Totasky Creek, Old Rappahannock County, VA, New Kent, and finally "Verdon", Hanover Co, VA.

I am also admin for the Cook DNA Project at FamilyTreeDNA.
