Comfort Cook in Scott County, TN

My Ggrandfather, Peter Byrd was married (wife #2) to Comfort Cook.He died, while on leave from the Union Army, in 1863. I am actually interested in his first wife Catherine, last name unknown. I am hoping that someone has info about Peter and Comfort which will lead me to my Ggrandmother.
