Good point about the lack of definitive connection of the capture of Ulrick's family and the Ft. Seybert raid. The only things I have is a transcript of the will of Ulrick, Jr. and a transcript of the letter that my GGGF, Oliver Coonrod, wrote that says he descended from Josephus. His account of Josephus' capture and escape from the Indians (and his mother's return) bears an uncanny resemblance to the account told by Mary Lee Keister Talbot of the Dyer Settlement, the Fort Seybert Massacre and the capture and escape of James Dyer. It should be noted, at least, that Oliver wrote his letter in 1917, a full twenty years before the Dyer Family Association published their account. However, the version in their book was said to have been handed down from Nancy Hall Dyer, the wife of James Dyer. That document also mentions the Mallow family. I have nothing on Barbara, this was the first I had heard of her.
