I too wish we knew more about Lydia.
What ship did she arrive on? How did she get here without parents and without a spouse? Was she a servant?
One source (without documentation) shows her father as Simon and her mother unknown.
I also have this on her:
Mistress LYDIA MORTON the wife of NATHANIEL MORTON Sr. deceased on the 23rd of Sept. 1673 after she lived with her said husband near the space of 38 years. After much dolorous pain and sickness she ended her lie with much peace and comfort. She was a good woman and lived much desired and died much lamented especially by her poor sorrowful husband; she was honorably buried on the 25th of said month at Plymouth.
