But there may be a few other David Coopers. One is in Spartanburg in 1790, and again in Laurens from 1810 and 1820.But the code for that part of Laurens district is apparently in or at least next to Spartanburg.Careful!
I am looking for that one as he may have been the husband of Mary Cooper in the Reedy River area of Laurens around 1830 and 1840.I think he was born ~1774 in NC.Ï don't think he was Marcome's son. If any male Cooper is reasonably sure they are descended from Spartanburg David PLEASE contact us.The need is urgent because it may solve many "brick walls", and after that male dies, the opportunity could be lost forever.
Let me know please, what you find out.If you know Cooper line descended males, who know their pedigree, please encourage them to do the yDNA test, a cheap cheek swab test that can help many of us as well as themselves.
