I think his mother was Hannah LAFLEN.In 1930 Lorenzo and Cora are in CA, but most of their children were born in OK.In 1920 they are in Ellis Co, OK.The oldest child was born around 1912.

In the 1910 census there is a Lorenzo A. COOPER, age 37, born in WV, living in Ellis, OK with his mother Hannah FINCH, age 73, also b. WV.

In 1880 in Proctor, Wetzel Co, WV there's this family:
LAFLAN, William age 74 b. PA, both parents b. PA
wife Phebe age 70 b. PA, both parents b. PA
son John W. age 27 b. VA
dau COOPER, Hannah age 44 b. VA
grandson COOPER, Lorenzo age 7 b. WV
grandson COOPER, David A. age 4 b. WV

In the 1870 the above family was in the same location.Hannah's birthplace is listed as OH, and her father's as NY.There is also another daughter, Susan, living with them.


There's an 1871 WV marriage record for Hannah LOFLEN to George W. COOPER, in Wetzel Co.


There's an OK marriage record for L.A. COOPER, age 36, to Cora May CECIL, age 15, on 20-Dec-1910 in Ellis Co, OK.Groom's parents were Geo. COOPER and Hanna PRINCE.Bride's parents were W.H. CECIL and "SA"Witnesses were D.A. COOPER and Mrs. D.A. COOPER.(I believe this is Lorenzo's brother, David and his wife.I found a David and Verna COOPER living in Ellis Co and David was the right age and born in WV)

I don't know why his mother's name is listed as PRINCE.
