I can't find a George W. COOPER in that part of WV that would be old enough to have been Hanna's husband.I checked the households on the pages before and after the LAFLEN family in 1870, too.

The only reason I can think of for the name change is that Hanna remarried.But was it really FINCH or PRINCE, or both, who knows.I couldn't find a marriage record.

I found an image of their marriage record online. It looks to me that at the time of marriage George was 21 and Hannah was 35.His birthplace was Wetzel Co. VA and hers was Monroe Co. OH.
