James N. Corbett b. abt. 1822 TN or KY
Sarah M. (Bayliss)Corbett b. abt. 1828 KY
They married in 1846 in Montgomery Co. TN.
Children are Eugene b. abt. 1850 TN, Willie b. abt. 1852 TN, Macey b. abt. 1857 TN, Newton b. abt. 1859 TN, Francis b. abt. 1861 TN, Robert b. abt. 1864 TN, Susan L. b. abt. 1865 TN.
James N. Corbett died 12/17/1872. He was a riverboat captain. Sarah lived until at least 1900. Eugene married Joella Boyle. He died 1907 and she in 1905. Robert married Adah Louella Rodgers from Ohio in 1900 in NJ. She lived until 1947 and Robert disappeared. They lived most of the time in Brooklyn, NY. Robert is my gg-grandfather. James N. would be my ggg-grandfather. I would like to know his parents. If this looks familiar to anyone please let me know.
