Elizabeth Corbit & Jonas Spivey, Gates Co. NC

Does anyone have any information on Elizabeth Corbit who married Jonas Spivey in Gates County, NC around 3/11/1855? She had at least one brother, William Corbit, who fought in and was wounded in the Civil War. He is buried near Hertford, NC. Name may have been spelled "Corbitt" or even "Corbet" or "Corbett". Thanks for any help at all on this family. (My great grandparents)
