JOHN A. CORBITT
FOUNTAIN -- John A. Corbitt, 57, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at Pitt Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today from the Church Street Chapel of the Farmville Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Jones officating. Interment followed in the Corbitt-Dunn Family Cemetery near Falkland.
Corbitt is survived by his wife, Linda B. Corbitt of the home; a son, Randy Corbitt of Greenville; mother, Mary Flemming Corbitt of Fountain; four sisters Doris Marie Thomas of Wilson, Joyce Faye Greene and Geraldine Branch, both of Fountain and Diane Melton of Bailey; a brother, William Morrison Corbitt of Fountain.
