Corbitt Family of SC, (possibly NC) and Henry Co. AL

I am looking for the ancestors of James Corbitt/Corbett who died in Sumter District SC in 1846.He was married to Mary Holland Smith.He may have lived or may have been born in NC.He and his wife had the following children: Elizabeth, James Jr., Jesse Wesley, William Batson, Lovett Samuel and Henry Hampton (or it may be Hampton Henry).Some of the children remained in SC while others migrated to Henry County, AL.Information I have on this family is available at the following web site:http://mysite.verizon.net/mcspear/corbittfamily/http://mysite.verizon.net/mcspear/corbittfamily/
