I now have Benjamin Corbit Tn possible father to Thomas Cobit Jackson Co b:1802 d:1872Ar. All moving to Lawrence co Ar. The Corbits marr: Frost, Higgins, Wann,Anderson,Godwin.
These Corbits were living in Alabama on Cherokee land. Someone said as Squatters, never the less, Thomas had a Cherokee wife. My curiosity is how many of these families did have Native American spouses? We are cnnected Corbit marr: AndersonAnderson marr: Matheny: Matheny marr: Prince in 1900.
