Linda found the 1860 Census, Amboy, Lee Co., IL:Ira CORBY, 32; Clara, 32; Harriett, 9; Urana, 7; & Philo, 4; all b. NY.
She also found in 1910, Hot Springs, Fall River Co., SD, in the same boarding house George PETRIE, 28, b. IL, & Charles MINER, 23, b. IL.In 1930, both were married and living a few blocks apart in Mitchell, Davison Co., SD:
George PETRIE, 47; wf. Sophia, 34; 809 E. Eighth Ave.
Charles MINER, 42; wf. Anna M., 34; 1025 East Seventh Ave.
Now I'm sure those were half-brothers.
One more clue.Marlene Urben indicated that Urana applied for a Civil War pension as wife of COOPER, but it was denied for lack of information. On that record, it said Urana had also married John B. CLINE, which would mean COOPER was her sixth husband.
