CORFIELD -Clifford James passed away on September 24, 2005 at York Manor Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB. Born January 31, 1919 to Albert and Alice (Bailey) Corfield of Zealandia, SK, Cliff served in the RCAF as an airplane mechanic and navigator during WWII. A sports fan, he played amateur baseball for Crosstown Motors and worked as an auto mechanic in Toronto, and then in Fredericton, retiring in 1984. He is survived by his children, Bill, Saint John NB, Judy Sugar, Reno NV, Ken, Grimsby ON, June, Toronto, Marilyn Pierce, Burlington ON, Dale, Milton, ON, Kathy, Toronto, 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, second wife, Thirza (Teddy), Toronto, and brother, Harold Sparks, Zealandia. His first wife, Carrie, and brothers, Abe and Norman, preceded Cliff in death.
