My family is mainly in Indiana and Wisconsin. My father's name was Richard Lee Cory (11/10/1934-03/20/1995) and my grandfather's name was Elmer Eugene born on January 19, not sure what year. They were Irish. Don't know if this helps, but worth a shot. I think my dad's grandmother's maiden name was Threlkeld. He had two brothers, Elmer and William. My grandfather had many brothers and sisters: Rosie, Flossie (Florence?), Oakie are a few of the names. There's a possible link to Dwight Henry Cory of the civil war. Hope this helps.
