Cosgrove Locks, England

I'm not trying to flood the forum, but I just keep thinking of questions.
In England, by Milton Keynes, there's a little town called "Cosgrove Locks" - just a couple houses by a lock on a river, I guess.Does anyone know anything about the town, how it may have come to have been called Cosgrove locks, etc.I'd imagine there was once a lockskeeper named Cosgrove who lived there.But I'm curious about the what may constitute the rest of the story.
