George Costen married Louisa Ellis 8 August 1894 in Seattle, WA.He was 33, white, 2nd marriage, a carpenter born in Delaware to John Costen and Mary Parker.Louisa was 18, white, 1st married, born in London, daughter of Henry Ellis and (illegible) Lee.
Per the RL Polk directory of Seattle, in 1891 his address was "eastside alley between 8th and 9th 1 S of Terrace" Seattle.
Myrtle Costen married Ralph Whitehouse on 23 January 1914 in Seattle, WA. She was 18, white, first marriage, born in Seattle to George Costen of Ohio and Louise Ellis of New York state.He was 23, white, 1st marriage, a seaman born in West Virginia to Joseph Whiteman and Elizabeth Hilton, both of England.

William Thompson (Tom) Costen of Island Co. WA, son of Dr William and Barbara (Wilkins) Costen of St. Louis, died in the Persian Gulf Jan 18, 1991.He was born 4 Aug 1963.Per US records, he was a US Navy Lieutenant, and is buried in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St Louis MO.There is a memorial to this Navy pilot in Brentwood, Mo. "An officer, a gentleman, a warrior of the air.A beloved son and brother. He gave his all for us. Dedicated to Lt William T. (Tom) Costen, USN, January 18, 1991- Persian Gulf War.
He flew an A6 Intruder, assigned to attack squadron 155 at Whidbey Island WA, before shipping out to the USS Ranger in the Persian Gulf.He was shot down in combat.
He was raised in Independence, Mo, and graduated from the University of the South.
