COTTRELLs of NC and TN

Searching for parents of Dr. John B COTTRELL, born in NC in
1806. He died after 1870 in Sullivan Co TN. His census
listings in TN list him as a physician. A William COTTRELL
who was in what is now Watauga Co NC before migrating to
TN, is a likely candidate to be Dr COTTRELL's father, given
the age and location. No proof yet found however.
